Last Mile Delivery of Healthcare
At Health for Humanity we believe that access to healthcare is the fundamental right of every individual. Health for Humanity endeavours to restore health and put the smile back on the faces of people with physical and mental illness specially among the underprivileged sections of the society. Healthcare delivery very often falters at the last mile. And those in the last mile very often are the most backward and underpriviledged in the society. As a part of this initiative, health camps, screening programmes and training programmes are organised with support from local organisations and NGOs targeting societies deprived of, or having limited access to healthcare. Special effort is made to base such activity in the "last mile" which includes remote areas and impoverished localities. Health for Humanity brings in global expertise by bringing in the services of top healthcare professionals willing to devote their time and expertise to the furtherance of this initiative.

Yet another successful health camp by 'Health for Humanity', the flagship programme of Dr. Kishore Chandra Prasad Foundation (Est:2012 under Indian Trust Act). We routinely undertake health camps in the most underprivileged sections of the society, and this time it was in the slums of Kamanahalli near Bangalore. LAST MILE HEALTHCARE DELIVERY is the motto of our health programmes, ensuring that basic health care is made accessible to the most underprivileged. Almost all of our camps are held in the slum areas.
